After the visual representation of the Gibson les paul junior from 1959 in the last post, now a short audio impression from this guitar played through a Marshall-flavored Divided by 13 LDW 17/39 amplifier.
The setup was recorded direct into a BOSS BR 1200 without any modification’s except the conversion into MP3-format. The following settings were used:
- Gibson Les Paul Junior 1959 singlecut
- Volume set to 100%
- Tone set to 50%
- Divided by 13 LDW 17/39
- High input jack
- Volume set to 35%
- Master set very low
- Treble set to 50%
- Mid set to 50%
- Bass set to 50%
- Power set to half = 17 Watt
- Vox Night Train NT112 cabinet
- Celestion 12M Greenback 75 Hz speaker – chinese production
- Sennheiser MD-421 microphone from the 6oties with the following position in front of the cab
- 1″ left of the speaker cone edge
- 1″ away from the cabinet grill
- microphone tilted approximatly 20° pointing to the speaker cone center
